This service is available for households who are self-isolating.
Here to Help whilst Self-Isolating
If you are a resident in Redditch who is self-isolating and find yourself in need of support we have a package of services that we hope will help you.
We can help you get through your self-isolation by providing food parcels. These can save you having to break isolation to go shopping, and reduce the cost of living for you whilst you are off work.
Whilst you are self-isolating you should be able to use online shopping services from the supermarkets. However, if you cannot use these services, or they don’t have the things you need, we may be able to help using our network of partner organisations who provide this service under referral.
If you’re self isolating your doctors and your pharmacy should work together to ensure you can still get your medication delivered to your door. If you are encountering issues or need additional items we may be able to help in conjunction with our partner groups.
If going into self-isolation will be a financial struggle for you our partners can help assess your benefits, including entitlements to any benefits you’re not already claiming, and help you with your budget, debts and services.
£500 Self Isolation Support Payment
The government has announced a one-off £500 support payment for those on lower incomes who could face a loss of earnings as a result of self-isolating.
