About the Charity

The Support Redditch Emergency Network is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation with the Charities Commission.

Our Charitable Objects

As a charity we can only help those who need charitable assistance. We define this in our ‘charitable objects’ which are:

To relieve people within the Parliamentary constituency of Redditch County who are in need, by reason of their age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or social circumstances in such ways as the trustees shall think fit, with particular focus on providing assistance to those affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19) or who are affected by or victim of other disaster, trouble, catastrophe or war.

Areas covered

We cover all of the urban boroughs of Redditch from Church Hill and Winyates in the north to Astwood Bank & Feckenham in the south.

We also cover parts of Wychavon District, namely Hanbury, Cookhill, Holberrow Green, Inkberrow and the Lenches.

Eligibility Criteria

Each of our services has its own eligibility criteria that may vary across services. However, we are bound overall by our charitable objects that require the people we are helping to be suffering as a result of their age, ill health, financial hardship or social circumstances. We have a particular focus on people who have been affceted by the impact of COVID-19.
